We are back and Elias is in the ring.

Elias wants to know WHO WANTS TO WALK . . . WITH ELIAS?

Elias says he knows so many truths and no truth is more apparent than the truth that WWE stands for Walk With Elias. Elias says he is on another planet than anyone else. He was interrupted by pancakes, conga lines, and that glorious fraud Bobby Roode. Elias mentions that they are in the home of Billy Joel so he is not surprised that you root for a talentless hack. If Bobby Roode wants to interrupt his singing again, he will rip apart his vocal chords. Then he will go on to win the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

The crowd chants Rusev Day and Elias says Rusev Day has nothing on Elias.

Elias sings that Bobby thinks he’s glorious but he doesn’t have a clue. He is dead inside, like all of you. If you disagree, you are out of luck. You can bring the Islanders back but they will still suck.

Bobby Roode interrupts.

Match Number Six: Bobby Roode versus Elias

They lock up and Elias backs Roode into the corner. Both men with punches. Roode with a punch and running forearm. Roode goes up top and hits a clothesline. Roode sets for the GLORIOUS DDT but Elias blocks the kick. Roode with an enzuigiri and we go to commercial.

We are back and Elias with an Irish whip and back body drop. We see footage from the commercial break when Elias punched Roode off the apron and to the floor. Elias with double sledges to the back and then he slams Roode for a near fall. Elias with a cross face on Roode. Roode with a kick and punches as Roode avoids Elias. Roode with a chop. Elias with a hard Irish whip. Roode with a spinebuster for a near fall.

Roode with a clothesline into the corner and he goes for a bulldog but Elias with a backbreaker for a near fall. Elias with kicks and a power bomb for a near fall. Elias gets another near fall. Elias prepares to send Roode into the ring post but Roode blocks it. Elias kicks Roode as he comes back into the ring. Roode tries to get Elias onto his shoulders but Elias blocks it and then he connects with a forearm. Roode with a Glorious DDT for the three count.

Winner: Bobby Roode

After the match, Bobby Roode is asked about beating Elias. Bobby says it will get better because after what he did to Elias, he hopes he will get in a qualifying match. Beating Elias was great, but winning Money in the Bank will be GLORIOUS.

Elias is in the ring and he wants to know who wants to walk with him.

He says he is good friends with Bruce Springsteen.  They go to parties together, they talk about music and life.  Elias says he gives Bruce advice.  Elias says of all the great things he has done, Bruce’s only regret is that he is from New Jersey.  Elias says he gets it because this place is a toilet.  Elias says he told Bruce to tune in tonight because he has a song Bruce will like.

Elias threatens not to perform if the people will not listen to him.  Elias says he is going to leave, but it was a ruse.  Elias says Bruce needs to hear this.

Aiden English interrupts and he makes his way to the stage.

Aiden says New Day’s skills do not pay the bills so stick to their short stacks.  He tells Elias that he can play his guitar but does he know what day it is?  It is RUSEV Day.

Rusev makes his way out.

Elias wants to know what they are doing out here.

Rusev says they are doing whatever they want.  There is only one person here that celebrates a holiday in his honor and it is not Bootleg Bob Dylan or the Booty Boys.

Elias says Bob Dylan wishes he could be Elias.  It is not about Rusev Day or New Day, it is Elias’ night.

Before Elias can play, No Way Jose comes out and he is joined by his Conga Line.  Titus Worldwide and Breezango join the random people around the ring.

Elias wants the music stopped.

Elias says this is his night and nobody is going to ruin it or interrupt him again.

Bobby Roode interrupts Elias and he hits a GLORIOUS DDT.

Rusev keeps Aiden from joining the tomfoolery.

A Roode Awakening! Jinder Mahal claimed that he had some news about Bobby Roode. After listening to a few words of what Jinder Mahal had to say, Bobby Roode had heard enough. Mahal had a fake list claiming that Roode voted himself for the number 1 spot on the SmackDown Live Top 10 list and didn’t have Mahal or Randy Orton on it. Orton soon appeared and without a word attacked Roode turning things into a brawl. In the end, Mahal attacked Roode and was left standing alone in the ring.

Here is what WWE.com had to say about this encounter.

With the animosity between Jinder Mahal, United States Champion Bobby Roode and Randy Orton continuing to build, Mahal (flanked by Sunil Singh) arrived on SmackDown LIVE with a copy of what he claimed to be Roode’s SmackDown LIVE Top 10 Superstars List ballot. The Modern Day Maharaja declared that Roode voted for himself at number one and had neither Mahal nor Orton on it. Mahal used this piece of information to try and drive the wedge further between The Glorious One and The Viper, claiming that it’s clear that Roode has no respect for The Apex Predator.

Not thrilled with these assertions, the United States Champion interrupted, suggesting that he saw through Mahal’s plan to pit him and Orton against each other simply as a means for Jinder to carve out an easier path to the United States Title. This led to a heated exchange between Roode and Mahal that Orton soon broke up with his arrival.

Without saying a word, The Viper stepped to Roode, and a brawl soon erupted. Orton punched Mahal, which Roode followed up by clotheslining Mahal over the top rope. The Apex Predator then went to RKO The Glorious One, but Roode turned it around into a Glorious DDT. The United States Champion stood tall, but only for a moment, as The Modern Day Maharaja slid back into the ring and dropped Roode with the ring-shaking Khallas.

For the second straight week, Mahal left his foes down. If Roode and Orton weren’t taking notice before, they surely are now. However, Mahal may not exactly have SmackDown LIVE management taking notice, or at least Shane McMahon, as after this dominant display, Shane decreed that it would be Roode vs. Orton for the U.S. Title at WWE Fastlane, overruling Daniel Bryan’s idea to give The Modern Day Maharaja a championship opportunity.

A Double United States Challenge! Since winning the United States championship, Bobby Roode has given anyone who wants a chance at the title, to come try and take it from him. Both Randy Orton & Jinder Mahal answered the call. This led to chaos. Here is what WWE.com had to say about what went down.

United States Champion Bobby Roode looked to continue a long-standing tradition by holding a United States Open Challenge tonight on SmackDown LIVE, but he got a little more than he bargained for.

Still peeved over being struck with an RKO (outta nowhere) last week, Roode made it clear that this was an open challenge, but he had one specific Superstar in mind. The Glorious One seemed to get his wish when Randy Orton arrived, but right as The Viper entered the ring, Jinder Mahal interrupted to berate Orton over his placement on the first-ever SmackDown Top 10 List, suggesting that his spot at No. 9 was embarrassing and that his career has peaked.

The Apex Predator seemed indifferent to his placement on the list, but the one thing he did care about was Roode’s comment that The Glorious One didn’t like his tendency to attack Superstars out of nowhere, specifically referencing the RKO he felt last week. Orton did not take kindly to this, swiftly RKOing Sunil Singh and kicking off a melee between all three. Roode landed a wicked haymaker on Orton, but that left him open to receiving a ring-rattling Khallas from Mahal, who took down the staggered Viper with the same move to stand tall.

A Glorious Opportunity Reigns! Since his debut, Bobby Roode has had his eyes set on obtaining gold. Not just any gold. He wants to make the United States Championship Glorious. At Clash of Champions, Dolph Ziggler surprised everyone by becoming champion. But later Dolph Ziggler abandoned the title in the middle of the ring. Without contacting the WWE, Dolph forfeited his chance of keeping it. So there will be a 2 round tournament to decide who will fight for the opportunity for a United States Championship match.

Bobby Roode came out strutting to his entrance music with nothing but winning on his mind. Through dodging the End of Days, Bobby Roode rolled up Baron Corbin to earn the opportunity to fight for the United States title.

For a more in depth summary, here is what WWE.com had to say.

It just hasn’t been Baron Corbin’s month. The former titleholder tried to get back on track in a first-round bout of the United States Championship Tournament against Bobby Roode, but it was to no avail, as The Glorious One prevailed in the hard-hitting contest by defeating Corbin with an amazing, and sudden, rollup. A furious Corbin seethed in the ring after the bell, and Roode celebrated his glorious advancement in the tournament.

A Glorious Bout! Since making his way onto the SmackDown main roster, Bobby Roode proved that he was great at what he does. This new feat, is one that he probably never thought he’d face. A 5 on 5 elimination match. Win or lose, Bobby Roode will make this match… GLORIOUS!

Bobby’s first face to face would be with the Cerebral Assassin Triple H. Roode is no match for Triple H as he tries to pull his Glorious gimmick and Triple H slaps him. This matchup is one is one in a million as Bobby and H=Triple H go for their signature moves but blocked them. Kurt Angle slams Bobby hot off his tag. Angle and Roode both think clothesline and are now down in the center of the ring. Bobby tags in Nakamura. Bobby comes in to help Nakamura with BRAUN STROWMAN. Roode gives Strowman all he has, in the end it is not enough. Bobby Roode is eliminated. For more on this explosive match, here is what WWE.com has to say.

Team Raw came out on top in the Men’s 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match, but it was the intervention of two wholly unexpected Superstars and a shocking double-cross that helped determine the outcome of this head-to-head competition for brand supremacy.

With Survivor Series tied at 3-3 between Raw and SmackDown LIVE, Team Red scored a hard-fought victory over Team Blue in the main event of WWE’s fall classic, cementing Raw’s dominance in a head-to-head competition for brand supremacy. But the win that earned Raw an overall victory over SmackDown LIVE came with no small amount of controversy for the red brand, with tensions between Triple H and Team Raw’s captain, General Manager Kurt Angle, bubbling over in the match’s final moments.

As expected, Braun Strowman proved to be a major player on Team Raw, pinning SmackDown LIVE favorites Shinsuke Nakamura and Bobby Roode in short order with two ring-rattling Running Powerslams. Attempting to take The Monster Among Men off the playing field, Team Blue’s John Cena and Randy Orton double-teamed the juggernaut, and with the help of their blue band compatriots, drove the behemoth through one of the ringside announce tables.

Order was eventually restored, with Cena putting away Raw’s Samoa Joe with a damaging duet of Attitude Adjustments, finally getting SmackDown on the scoreboard.

Shortly after, Cena found himself standing across the ring from Angle — the Superstar Cena faced during his debut WWE match on SmackDown back in 2002. Realizing quickly that The Olympic Hero hadn’t lost a step, Cena fell victim to an Angle Lock followed up by an Angle Slam. SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon broke up Angle’s pinfall attempt, but a well-timed Coup de Grâce from Raw’s Finn Bálor made Cena vulnerable to a second Angle Slam. Angle then pinned the 16-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, reducing Team Blue’s ranks to two: McMahon and Randy Orton.

It was Bálor who made the attempt to skin The Viper, hitting Orton with his signature Slingblade and sending his veteran foe into the turnbuckle with a dropkick that left Orton in the drop zone for the Coup de Grâce. The ring awareness of WWE’s Apex Predator, however, won out. He dodged the aerial Bálor and hit a perfectly executed RKO on the Irishman that took Bálor out of the match.

Not only did Shane-O-Mac and The Viper face insurmountable odds given the remaining members of Team Raw — Strowman, Triple H and Angle — but opposition also came from the SmackDown camp. Bitter that they were not included on SmackDown’s Survivor Series team, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn brutally attacked McMahon, forcing the commissioner to fend them off with a steel chair.

After helping Shane fight off the attackers, a distracted Orton was floored with a Running Powerslam from Strowman that led to his elimination. Now, the man who put Raw under siege and formed the perfect team to challenge Raw for brand supremacy was all alone against three powerful foes.

Despite that power, however, lingering tension between Angle and Triple H — who Pedigreed Angle’s son, Jason Jordan, just days earlier — dramatically changed the complexion of Team Raw in the final moments of the match. Seeming to side with his brother-in-law, Triple H hit The Olympic Hero with a Pedigree and placed McMahon on top of Angle to eliminate the Raw GM. As a confused Strowman looked on, Triple H then helped Shane to his feet, only to hit McMahon with the same maneuver that put down Angle, scoring the final pin for Team Red and ending the night for a 4-3 win for Raw overall at Survivor Series.

Not at all pleased with the final moments of the match, Strowman quietly seethed as Triple H held up his hand in victory. The Monster Among Men forced the jubilant King of Kings into the corner and warned the WWE COO not to cross him a second time or Triple H “will never play this game again.”

As Strowman’s back was turned, The Game tried to take down the behemoth, but The Monster Among Men was ready and hit Triple H with not one, but two Running Powerslams.

Triple H might have stolen the glory and raised some serious questions about Strowman’s immediate future, but nevertheless, Raw reigns supreme … at least, for now.

In Ring Segment: Roderick Strong

We are back and Roderick Strong makes his way to the ring for something to say.

Roderick says he wants to be honest with you because the last seven or eight months have been a roller coaster for him.  He is in NXT, he has a beautiful fiance and baby boy at home.  He opened up to all of you about something he has been ashamed of because he did not want to be judged.  He has been accepted with open arms and he thanks everyone.  When he first came here, he came for one reason, the NXT Championship.  Roderick says his life has never been better but there is one thing he wants and one thing he needs, the NXT Championship.

Strong says it is no longer Roddy versus the World, it is Roddy, Marina, and Tory versus the World.  That motivates Roderick to be better and to be the WWE Champion.

Bobby Roode’s music plays and he comes to the stage.  Roode wipes away fake tears from his eyes.  Roode says that was such an emotional story and he was pulling on the heart strings.  You are standing in an NXT ring in front of the NXT Universe.  You must be proud.  You are winning matches, finally.  You have a marginally hot fiance.  Your son is relatively normal so you should be proud.

Roode says he gets it that Strong wants to be on the marquee with the champ.  Diapers are expensive.  You want to play the Bobby Roode lottery.  You spend your hard earned money and hope to hit the numbers to get out of the trailer park and move to the mansion on the hill.  That is not how it works in his NXT.  You don’t wave a wand and get a title match.  Roode says you are a good hand so he tells Strong to stay in his lane.  Maybe one day, they can take a selfie together and you can show it to your little guy and say ‘here is the champ, and your dad.’  Roode tells Strong not to play the Bobby Roode lottery because you are not man enough to win.  Roode wishes Strong the best of luck. Roode walks off, and Strong’s music hits as he leaves the ring.
