The Glorious One Looks To Prevail! Bobby Roode has his eyes set on becoming United States Champion. One person stands in his way, Baron Corbin. Corbin has put up a tough fight keeping that championship. Dolph Ziggler awaits his turn as well. At Night of Champions, Roode, Corbin and Ziggler will go head to head to see who will be victorious.

Tonight on SmackDodwn, Bobby Roode sends a warning to both Corbin and Ziggler. He wants to bring the title back to what it represents. Baron Corbin and Bobby Roode have a one on one singles match. Ziggler is out on commentary. Zigglar wants to play as well and he interferes in the match giving Bobby Roode a Zig Zag and disqualification win. Ziggler sends a warning Zig Zag to Corbin as well. Here’s what WWE.com had to say about all that went down below.

Looking to make a strong statement en route to the United States Title Triple Threat Match at WWE Clash of Champions, Dolph Ziggler interrupted a one-on-one contest between his two pay-per-view opponents, leaving the announce table to drop Bobby Roode with a Zig Zag. Though his nefarious actions gave The Glorious One a disqualification win, The Showoff evened things out by hitting a second Zig Zag on United States Champion Baron Corbin after the bell.

Roode says Corbin is scared and won’t face him man to man. Corbin walks up and tells Bobby that he basically asked for it. A Glorious SmackDown! Over the past few weeks, Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler have been at each other’s throats. Ziggler has a problem with Roode’s theme being “Glorious”, and the fact that he gives the WWE Universe what they want. Tonight, on Smackdown, they look to settle it in the ring ina 2 out of 3 falls count match. The match starts off with headlocks and clotheslines. Each trying to get the first fall. During the commercial break, Bobby got a little revenge with a Glorious DDT to get the second pin. During the final match up, Ziggler and Roode gave each other their best, but in the end, Bobby Roode hit a final Glorious DDT to seal his spot on Team SmackDown. Read what WWE.com had to say about this match below.

With a ticket to Team SmackDown at Survivor Series on the line and their personal rivalry reaching its breaking point, Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode squared off in a high-stakes 2-out-of-3 Falls Match.

The two Superstars dazzled in an incredible contest that was equal parts athletically impressive as it was brutally physical. The first fall went to Ziggler after he connected squarely with a picture-perfect superkick. However, Roode fired back, grabbing the second fall with a clutch rollup after Ziggler’s head banged off the ring post. In crunch time, Roode gained the glory, defeating The Showoff after countering a rollup into a Glorious DDT to join Team Blue’s side at Survivor Series.

After the contest, Roode spoke with Renee Young and made it clear that Team Raw would be going down at Survivor Series.

A Roode Awakening! After weeks of Dolph Ziggler trying to please the WWE Universe with borrowing fellow superstars entrance music, Bobby Roode wanted to put an end to his antics. At Hell In A Cell, Roode thought he did just that but he was wrong. On SmackDown, Dolph complained that Bobby Roode cheated by pulling his tights. A rematch was made.

Tonight on SmackDown, Dolph showed Bobby what it felt like to get one over when he pulled on his tights to get the pin fall victory. For more from tonight’s match, here is what WWE.com had to say.

The bad blood between Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler intensified on SmackDown LIVE, as The Glorious One squared off against The Showoff in a heated WWE Hell in a Cell rematch. With matters between the two only getting more personal by the week, both Superstars came out of the gates ready to make a statement.

In the closing moments, Ziggler evaded an attack by The Glorious One and returned the favor from their pay-per-view encounter, grabbing hold of Roode’s tights for leverage and scoring the three-count victory.

Hell In A Cell proved to be Glorious for Bobby Roode as he looked to put Dolph Ziggler in his hindsight. The match was eventually won by a Glorious DDT from Bobby Roode. Out of nowhere and in a fit of anger and disbelief, Dolph Ziggler retaliates and gives Bobby Roode a zig zag. When one would think the Bobby Roode / Dolph Ziggler feud was over, Ziggler thought otherwise.
On SmackDown Live, Bobby Roode would come out ready to once and for all end Dolph Ziggler for good. Dolph, being the showoff, had other plans in mind. Would he accept Bobby Roode’s offer or just be done with him? Fortunately, Dolph Ziggler wasn’t done and he had proof as to why. He had video evidence that Bobby Roode held his tights for leverage during the 3 count. When will Dolph evoke his rematch? WWE.com has all the latest on the Ziggler vs Roode feud check it out below.

Bobby Roode got the leg up on Dolph Ziggler competition-wise at WWE Hell in a Cell when he defeated The Showoff in their one-on-one contest, but Ziggler got the last laugh when he immediately dropped Roode with the Zig Zag after the defeat.

The Glorious One, itching to pound on Ziggler some more after the blindside attack, was in the ring ready for a fight. Ziggler made his way onto the stage, chastised Roode, showed a picture of The Glorious One grabbing The Showoff’s tights in their match at WWE Hell in a Cell and called him a “fraud” and a “cheater” while making it clear that he wanted a rematch. Always one for a good mind game, however, Ziggler revealed that there would indeed be a rematch … but not tonight.

However, it was announced that the two would square off next week on SmackDown LIVE.

Is it too much of a layup to say Bobby Roode’s WWE pay-per-view debut was positively glorious? Perhaps. But it was all the same, as the former NXT Champion knocked off a Dolph Ziggler that the WWE Universe may not recognize.

The Showoff, who has spent the last month or so mocking every elaborate entrance in WWE history, made a unique statement before the match began by entering to almost no music or lighting in order to keep the spotlight on his near-unmatched skills in the ring. To Dolph, Roode, who walks the ramp to one of the more extravagant entrances today, is the epitome of flash over substance. Still, The Glorious One showed he could hang with the former World Heavyweight Champion’s skills almost instantly. Roode went move-for-move with Ziggler and still found time for the occasional call-and-response “GLORIOUS!” chant with the crowd.

Ziggler answered with a gritty, unforgiving offense, pulverizing Roode with holds, locks, and at one point, a drag of his face across the ropes that would have been welcome in the knock-down main events of the territory days. It was a stark departure from a Superstar who once combined his chinlocks with headstands just because he could, but it proved effective nonetheless, as a Famouser landed The Showoff a precarious nearfall.

You can’t take the showoff entirely out of Dolph Ziggler, though. He took a little long to tune up the band in preparation for the superkick, leading to a brutal spinebuster from The Glorious One. The ensuing scramble resulted in a series of rollups, and when Dolph attempted to get the win by grabbing a handful of Roode’s tights, his foe answered by grabbing a handful of Ziggler’s own trunks to get the deciding pinfall.

Turnabout, of course, is fair play, but Ziggler did not take the loss lying down, wrenching Roode to the mat with a Zig Zag seconds after the pin had been counted. The move makes sense. For Bobby Roode, a win in his first-ever WWE pay-per-view match is, perhaps, the best entrance of all. And we know how Dolph Ziggler feels about those.

Gloriously Served! Over the past few weeks, Bobby Roode has been having a war of words with Dolph Ziggler. Dolph Ziggler has been trying to perfect his entrance at the expense of a few legendary superstars. Bobby Roode has not been impressed about Dolph’s antics. He challenged Ziggler to a match at Hell In A Cell. Before their hellacious match on Sunday, will Bobby Roode continue to be unimpressed by Dolph Ziggler or will Ziggler finally impress The Glorious One. Here is what went down courtesy of WWE.com.

Five days before going toe-to-toe with Dolph Ziggler at WWE Hell in a Cell, the always-captivating Bobby Roode battled Mike Kanellis on Team Blue.

Roode got through Maria’s husband mostly unscathed, landing the Glorious DDT for the quick victory, but he would have little time to celebrate, as The Glorious One was promptly interrupted by Dolph Ziggler, who was carrying out another one of his mock entrances, complete with drums and an airhorn.

The Showoff made two promises for WWE Hell in a Cell: to show Roode an entrance like he has never seen and to prove The Glorious One is all flash and absolutely no fight by out-wrestling him for the victory.

Not the least bit rattled, Roode countered by Showing him what a real entrance looks like … GLORIOUS.
