The Glorious One Looks To Prevail! Bobby Roode has his eyes set on becoming United States Champion. One person stands in his way, Baron Corbin. Corbin has put up a tough fight keeping that championship. Dolph Ziggler awaits his turn as well. At Night of Champions, Roode, Corbin and Ziggler will go head to head to see who will be victorious.

Tonight on SmackDodwn, Bobby Roode sends a warning to both Corbin and Ziggler. He wants to bring the title back to what it represents. Baron Corbin and Bobby Roode have a one on one singles match. Ziggler is out on commentary. Zigglar wants to play as well and he interferes in the match giving Bobby Roode a Zig Zag and disqualification win. Ziggler sends a warning Zig Zag to Corbin as well. Here’s what WWE.com had to say about all that went down below.

Looking to make a strong statement en route to the United States Title Triple Threat Match at WWE Clash of Champions, Dolph Ziggler interrupted a one-on-one contest between his two pay-per-view opponents, leaving the announce table to drop Bobby Roode with a Zig Zag. Though his nefarious actions gave The Glorious One a disqualification win, The Showoff evened things out by hitting a second Zig Zag on United States Champion Baron Corbin after the bell.

Bobby Roode has been traveling with the main roster for some time now and he hasn’t slowed down or waivered in his quest to be the best. He has even requested Baron Corbin to put his United States Champion up, which Corbin flat out said no too. This being the last tour of the year, Bobby Roode wants to end it on a Glorious note. This was indeed a short tour of South America, but if you missed anything we have you covered.

Thursday, November 30, 2017 Lima, Peru

The second to last match of the even featured the GLORIOUS Bobby Roode taking on two of his greatest rivals since coming to SmackDown Live in Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler.

This match was a triple threat and the WWE United States Championship was up for grabs, with Baron Corbin escaping Peru with his title.

Based on the results of this week’s edition of SmackDown Live, it is likely that Roode and Corbin are on a collision course for Clash Of The Champions.

A Glorious Proposition! Last week, the entire SmackDown Live roster was out for the main event Lumber Jack match. At the end of the match, Corbin viciously smacks Bobby Roode and the entire roster erupts in a brawl. Bobby Roode is interviewed backstage and asked about his reaction to what Corbin did. Roode says Corbin is scared and won’t face him man to man. Corbin walks up and tells Bobby that he basically asked for it. Roode says if Corbin isn’t scared why don’t he put up the U.S. Championship match tonight. Corbin says NO!

WWE Starrcade started off with The Glorious Bobby Roode facing off against Dolph Ziggler. To everyone’s surprise, the guest enforcer was none other than Arn Anderson. The match was hard hitting with Dolph blocking everything Bobby threw his way for the first part of the match. Roode finally found his mojo and came back on the offense. Dolph Ziggler tried to cheat his way to a victory by using a steel chair, but Arn Anderson stopped him. Ziggler laid Anderson out and continued with the chair, but the referee stopped him and Roode took over due to the distraction. Anderson came into play again when Dolph was getting ready for his finisher. Anderson clobbered Ziggler and made way for Bobby Roode to hit him with a Glorious DDT for the win.

Bobby Roode def. Dolph Ziggler (Arn Anderson as Special Enforcer)

Great to see Anderson back in a WWE ring, although he lied in wait most of the match. Very good back and forth opening match with both guys getting their respective stuff in. Beautiful stalling suplex from Roode that stayed up for at least 15 seconds. Ziggler worked the crowd nicely to setup for a Roode comeback. A Fameasser and a Zig-Zag only pick up two counts. Ziggler goes for a chair, in which Double-A would not allow. Ziggler and Anderson face-off in the ring and Ziggler gets hit with one of the best spine busters there’s every been. This sets up Roode for the Glorious DDT and the win. In a hilarious spot, referee Charles Robinson carried Ziggler to the back in his arms.

Glorious Payback! After coming up short with the rest of his team at his first Survivor Series, Bobby Roode is not a happy camper. He sees Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in the back. They ask The Glorious One if he would have their back in the lumberjack match tonight. Bobby tells them that they have to be out of their mind to ask him for help after they ruined his debut at Survivor Series. He says that he will have their receipt.

During the match, Baron Corbin accidentally hits Bobby Roode and all Hell breaks loose. A chaotic scene breaks out as all superstars start brawling in the ring. Checkout the recap from PWInsider.com below!

Kevin and Sami see Bobby Roode.  They offer to give Bobby the chance to be someone instead of one of Shane’s guys.  Kevin tells Bobby he can be different during the lumberjack match.  Bobby reminds Kevin and Sami that he was in the match that they ruined.  Bobby says they ruined it not just for him, but the entire locker room.  Bobby says he owes both of them a receipt.

Match Number Four:  Kofi Kingston and Big E (with Xavier Woods) versus Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens in a Lumberjack Match

Owens and Big E start and Owens with a waist lock but Big E with a hip lock take down.  Big E gyrates for Kevin and Sami.  Owens with a kick and forearm to the back.  Owens with a side head lock.  Owens with a shoudler tackle and side head lock.  Big E gets a near fall.  Kofi tags in and hits a knee off  the turnbuckles.  Kofi is sent to the floor and nobody lays a hand on Kofi.  Sami tags in and Kofi with a waist lock.  Sami with a side head lock.  Sami with a shoulder tackle and Kofi hits a jumping back elbow for a near fall.  Sami kicks Kofi and punches him.

Sami sends Kofi to the floor and no one touches Kofi.  Sami goes to the floor and everyone attacks Sami.  Sami rolls to the floor and tries to go up the ramp but they all grab Sami and carry him back into the ring as we go to commercial.

We are back and Kofi kicks Owens in the corner.  Big E tags in and kicks Owens.  Kofi comes back in and kicks Kevin.  Big E with more kicks.  Big E Irish whips Kofi into Owens for a drop kick and he gets a near fall.  Owens backs Kofi into the corner and Kofi kicks Owens.  Kofi punches Sami on the apron but Owens with a super kick and he kicks Kofi.  Sami tags in and he punches Kofi in the ribs.  Sami with more punches to Kofi.  Sami with a short arm clothesline.  Sami with an arm bar and Owens tags in.  Owens with a head butt and he stands on Kofi’s hand.

Owens with a slam and he gets a near fall.  Owens mocks Big E’s clap and then he goes for a back senton but Kofi gets his knees up.  Big E and Zayn tag in and Big E with two overhead belly-to-belly suplexes followed by a belly-to-belly suplex.  Big E with the Warrior Splash.  Big E tries to back Zayn into the turnbuckle but Zayn moves.  Kofi makes the tag and he goes up top for a cross body and he gets a near fall.  Owens and Big E with clotheslines and both go down.  Zayn is back dropped to the floor.  Corbin with a forearm to Roode when Zayn moves and the lumberjacks battle into amd through the ring.

Kofi with a running forearm to Owens but Zayn with a rollup for the three count.

Winners:  Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens

Rusev and Aiden English attack Big E and Kevin goes into the crowd.  Kofi with a cross body off the turnbuckles.  Woods rolls Sami back into the ring.

The New Day triple team Sami and Kofi with Trouble in Paradise.  Big E gets Sami up for Midnight Hour.

Kevin Owens is in the back and Kevin tells Daniel not to fire them.  Daniel asks Kevin if he cares about Sami.  Kevin says he cares about Sami but he tells them not to fire them.

Daniel says they were never going to fire them.  He recognizes Kevin’s talent.  He has a match against Randy Orton next week.

We go to credits.

A Glorious Bout! Since making his way onto the SmackDown main roster, Bobby Roode proved that he was great at what he does. This new feat, is one that he probably never thought he’d face. A 5 on 5 elimination match. Win or lose, Bobby Roode will make this match… GLORIOUS!

Bobby’s first face to face would be with the Cerebral Assassin Triple H. Roode is no match for Triple H as he tries to pull his Glorious gimmick and Triple H slaps him. This matchup is one is one in a million as Bobby and H=Triple H go for their signature moves but blocked them. Kurt Angle slams Bobby hot off his tag. Angle and Roode both think clothesline and are now down in the center of the ring. Bobby tags in Nakamura. Bobby comes in to help Nakamura with BRAUN STROWMAN. Roode gives Strowman all he has, in the end it is not enough. Bobby Roode is eliminated. For more on this explosive match, here is what WWE.com has to say.

Team Raw came out on top in the Men’s 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match, but it was the intervention of two wholly unexpected Superstars and a shocking double-cross that helped determine the outcome of this head-to-head competition for brand supremacy.

With Survivor Series tied at 3-3 between Raw and SmackDown LIVE, Team Red scored a hard-fought victory over Team Blue in the main event of WWE’s fall classic, cementing Raw’s dominance in a head-to-head competition for brand supremacy. But the win that earned Raw an overall victory over SmackDown LIVE came with no small amount of controversy for the red brand, with tensions between Triple H and Team Raw’s captain, General Manager Kurt Angle, bubbling over in the match’s final moments.

As expected, Braun Strowman proved to be a major player on Team Raw, pinning SmackDown LIVE favorites Shinsuke Nakamura and Bobby Roode in short order with two ring-rattling Running Powerslams. Attempting to take The Monster Among Men off the playing field, Team Blue’s John Cena and Randy Orton double-teamed the juggernaut, and with the help of their blue band compatriots, drove the behemoth through one of the ringside announce tables.

Order was eventually restored, with Cena putting away Raw’s Samoa Joe with a damaging duet of Attitude Adjustments, finally getting SmackDown on the scoreboard.

Shortly after, Cena found himself standing across the ring from Angle — the Superstar Cena faced during his debut WWE match on SmackDown back in 2002. Realizing quickly that The Olympic Hero hadn’t lost a step, Cena fell victim to an Angle Lock followed up by an Angle Slam. SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon broke up Angle’s pinfall attempt, but a well-timed Coup de Grâce from Raw’s Finn Bálor made Cena vulnerable to a second Angle Slam. Angle then pinned the 16-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, reducing Team Blue’s ranks to two: McMahon and Randy Orton.

It was Bálor who made the attempt to skin The Viper, hitting Orton with his signature Slingblade and sending his veteran foe into the turnbuckle with a dropkick that left Orton in the drop zone for the Coup de Grâce. The ring awareness of WWE’s Apex Predator, however, won out. He dodged the aerial Bálor and hit a perfectly executed RKO on the Irishman that took Bálor out of the match.

Not only did Shane-O-Mac and The Viper face insurmountable odds given the remaining members of Team Raw — Strowman, Triple H and Angle — but opposition also came from the SmackDown camp. Bitter that they were not included on SmackDown’s Survivor Series team, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn brutally attacked McMahon, forcing the commissioner to fend them off with a steel chair.

After helping Shane fight off the attackers, a distracted Orton was floored with a Running Powerslam from Strowman that led to his elimination. Now, the man who put Raw under siege and formed the perfect team to challenge Raw for brand supremacy was all alone against three powerful foes.

Despite that power, however, lingering tension between Angle and Triple H — who Pedigreed Angle’s son, Jason Jordan, just days earlier — dramatically changed the complexion of Team Raw in the final moments of the match. Seeming to side with his brother-in-law, Triple H hit The Olympic Hero with a Pedigree and placed McMahon on top of Angle to eliminate the Raw GM. As a confused Strowman looked on, Triple H then helped Shane to his feet, only to hit McMahon with the same maneuver that put down Angle, scoring the final pin for Team Red and ending the night for a 4-3 win for Raw overall at Survivor Series.

Not at all pleased with the final moments of the match, Strowman quietly seethed as Triple H held up his hand in victory. The Monster Among Men forced the jubilant King of Kings into the corner and warned the WWE COO not to cross him a second time or Triple H “will never play this game again.”

As Strowman’s back was turned, The Game tried to take down the behemoth, but The Monster Among Men was ready and hit Triple H with not one, but two Running Powerslams.

Triple H might have stolen the glory and raised some serious questions about Strowman’s immediate future, but nevertheless, Raw reigns supreme … at least, for now.

The match went back and forth and after a couple of nearfalls, Bobby Roode hit the Glorious DDT to pick up the win.

A Glorious SmackDown! Over the past few weeks, Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler have been at each other’s throats. Ziggler has a problem with Roode’s theme being “Glorious”, and the fact that he gives the WWE Universe what they want. Tonight, on Smackdown, they look to settle it in the ring ina 2 out of 3 falls count match. The match starts off with headlocks and clotheslines. Each trying to get the first fall. During the commercial break, Bobby got a little revenge with a Glorious DDT to get the second pin. During the final match up, Ziggler and Roode gave each other their best, but in the end, Bobby Roode hit a final Glorious DDT to seal his spot on Team SmackDown. Read what WWE.com had to say about this match below.

With a ticket to Team SmackDown at Survivor Series on the line and their personal rivalry reaching its breaking point, Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode squared off in a high-stakes 2-out-of-3 Falls Match.

The two Superstars dazzled in an incredible contest that was equal parts athletically impressive as it was brutally physical. The first fall went to Ziggler after he connected squarely with a picture-perfect superkick. However, Roode fired back, grabbing the second fall with a clutch rollup after Ziggler’s head banged off the ring post. In crunch time, Roode gained the glory, defeating The Showoff after countering a rollup into a Glorious DDT to join Team Blue’s side at Survivor Series.

After the contest, Roode spoke with Renee Young and made it clear that Team Raw would be going down at Survivor Series.
